Medicare 2023 Deductible

Happy holidays to you, our wonderful patients! It seems like we celebrated the new year of 2022 with high hopes just yesterday. Here we are, December 2022 with the year 2023 around the corner. I am sure you are all well aware that the new year brings new Medicare deductibles to meet. While I can’t tell you what your vehicle deductible will be, I can tell you what Medicare’s new deductible for 2023 is… drum roll please… $226.00. That is a DECREASE of $7.00 from last year! Your premium is lower than in 2022 as well; $164.90, a decrease of $5.20 from last year!

We suggest you consider contacting us to obtain your maskless CPAP, the CPAP Pro, before December 29, 2022, if you have not had your mask refilled within 90 days of the date we send you your mask. Then when it is time for your next refill, it will be in March and most likely you will have met your deductible at one of your doctor’s appointments.

Keeping at least two masks on hand in case of an emergency, illness, natural disaster, or your pet destroys it, is always a good idea. We have had this happen. The dog thought it was a chew toy! This would be a good time to obtain one prior to the end of the year.

What do you do if you are not due until January or February of 2023 you ask? We have a plan, the same one as last year, the year before that, and the year before that. We bring it back each year because our patients love the two options. Call in and we will be happy to advise you of your options.
